Lunchrooms Policy

LUNCHROOM POLICY 

 

All Grades Eating Lunch on the 11th floor:

 

  • Students, please enter to get your lunch through the door closest to where you pick up food. If you have brought your lunch, please line up SINGLE FILE on the right side of the hallway, and wait until the teacher lets you in. Students getting a school lunch will need to line up SINGLE FILE on the left side of the hallway, and wait until the teacher lets you in.
  • Students, please exit the cafeteria through the other door (closest to the vending machine).
  • If you have lunch in the library, please line up for lunch as soon as you come up.
  • During lunch, students are allowed to have their phones but if they need to go to the bathroom, they must follow the schoolwide bathroom policy: 
    • One person out at a time rule (3 MAX out at a time for HS only)
    • Sign out on the blue sheets
    • Take the pass, and
    • MUST leave cell phone in the bin. 
    • For our 6th and 7th grade lunch, students can use the bathroom when they have Lunch Refresh in 1110 and 1105. 

For 11th graders and 12th graders:

  • You are allowed to go outside for lunch under the following conditions:
    • You have submitted your walking permission slip via OPEROO or on paper
    • You must finish your lunch by the end of the lunch period. You may bring your outside lunch to the room assigned on your schedule during your lunch period only. 
    • You must be wearing school uniform consistently. 
    • Privilege will be lost if: 
      • Not wearing your uniform
      • Cutting classes or arriving late to school 
      • Arriving late to your class after your lunch period
      • Bringing food into your next class
